About Michele
Michele is a friendly and compassionate person who is interested in individuals and their life stories. She brings to her work a breadth of experience, having prior to psychological practice attained a bachelors degree in fine art and teaching.
Interests
Michele has travelled extensively and enjoys wide range of interests, which include the enjoyment of art, music, film, literature, cooking and entertaining friends. She is committed to the wellbeing of animals. Michele aims to provide a warm, relaxed and effective therapeutic relationship for her clients and is keenly interested in the personalized dynamic process the therapeutic relationship creates.
Education
She has worked as a secondary teacher in both state secondary schools and in independent schools, and as such is familiar with the difficulties children face during their schooling.
Having graduated psychology and becoming a psychologist, she has worked as a school counsellor and as a psychologist working as an inpatient therapist and in the outpatient therapy program of a mental health hospital. She is familiar with dealing with the clinical issues faced by people who require support in the management of stress, anxiety and depression.
